Why would two cousins from Seattle start a charity voting site to shine the spotlight on other charities? Dollarpermonth.org was started as a way for the Facebook generation and those new to charitable giving to be able to make a difference and make their donation matter, no matter how big or small. DollarPerMonth does the research and makes it easy for you to be a part of the bigger picture. Each month, three charities are featured to bring new donors to their sites and for you to “invest” in, by voting on the charity that speaks to you. | A Dolphin's Promise | ||
A Dolphin’s Promise is a non-profit organization working in partnership with the city of Virginia Beach. Our goal is to bring hundreds of life size sculptures of dolphins to the shores and neighborhoods of our beautiful city. This is a project with a very important purpose; to raise one million dollars for cancer research and to help save and protect marine life. Money raised will go to the Lance Armstrong Foundation and to the Virginia Aquarium Stranding Response Program. Each uniquely decorated dolphin will serve as our city’s promise to do all we can to help fight cancer.
